Grumpy
and
I
both
know
that
one
of
the
only
reasons
we
have
each
been
given
opportunities
in
life
is
that
we
each
have
college
degrees.
Grumpy
even
has
a
Masters
Degree!
We
both
grew
up
rather
poor,
and
neither
one
of
us
could
afford
our
college
educations.
However,
luckily
our
families
instilled
in
us
the
importance
of
earning
a
college
degree,
so
somehow
we
each
found
a
way
to
go
to
school.
Grumpy
played
sports
and
earned
athletic
scholarships;
I
contracted
with
the
United
States
Army
and
opted
for
an
ROTC
scholarship.
We
would
not
be
where
we
are
today
without
our
education!
Education
opens
many
doors
of
opportunity
and
tends
to
erase
many
of
the
mistakes
of
our
youth.
We
realize
that
college
is
expensive
and
not
everyone
has
the
same
opportunities
as
others.
Just
like
us,
many
people
can’t
afford
to
go
to
college.
Therefore,
we
are
proud
to
announce
the
creation
of
the
Grumpy’s
Bail
Bonding
Freedom
Scholarship!
This
year,
through
Columbia
State
Community
College
in
Franklin,
we
have
donated
tuition
to
two
needy
Williamson
County
High
School
students
wishing
to
go
to
college
but
cannot
afford
tuition.
This
is
the
most
valuable
way
that
we
can
give
back
to
our
very
own
community – through
education!
It
is
our
hope
that
next
year
we
can
increase
our
scholarship
to
be
able
to
award
one
full
scholarship
to
one
student
from
each
high
school
in
Williamson
County!
It
is
a
worthy
goal
and
this
is
where
you
can
help!
