FUGITIVE RECOVERY
|
|
Fugitive
recovery
is
an
essential
component
to
any
bail
bonding
business.
Even
though
Grumpy's
operates
at
about
a
1% "skip" rate,
we
must
successfully
bring
back
to
justice
any
absconder
that
misses
a
court
date
and
runs
from
the
law. |
The A-Team
(Take-down Team)
Led
by Grumpy himself,
Grumpy's Fugitive
Recovery A-Team
consists of
highly motivated
and very skilled
and
experienced
professional
agents. All
have had military
experience and
are avid "hunters." Their
job is to investigate
and locate the
bail jumper
and then
to apprehend
and arrest him/her
without incident.
The
proper planning
of a recovery
mission and
the element
of surprise,
along
with a skilled "take-down," are the keys
to a good recovery. |
The
B-Team (Targeting Team)
Spearheaded
by The Bond Girl (Leah),
Grumpy's Fugitive Recovery
B-Team also consists of
highly motivated and skilled
professionals. However,
the scope of their mission
is somewhat different than
the A-Team. While the A-Team
is the "Take-down
Team," the
B-Team is the "Tell-Us-Where-They-Are" or "Targeting
Team." Their
job is to establish rapport
with the co-signers in order
to help locate the bail
jumper. Also, they work
diligently through cyber
investigations to help pinpoint
the jumper for the A-Team.
Many times, through skilled
communication, the B-Team
can talk the bail jumper
into turning himself or
herself in. This saves the
company a lot of money and
prevents the B-team from
being exposed to unnecessary
danger.

ROUTE
66 - The Journey Back
It
is seldom a fun
thing to take
anyone back to
jail. However,
the "ride" back
to jail is always
a moment of truth
and an opportunity
to witness to
the bail jumper.
We do this job
to try and help!
Some are willing
to receive help
- others are not.
Nonetheless, at
Grumpy's, we are
merely tools of
the justice system
to help ensure
accountability
in the lives of
the accused. Therefore,
whether it's with
our words or with
our actions, we
try to make a
difference in
their lives. |
| After
the
take-down,
bail
jumpers
are
often
humbled
and
willing
to listen
and
are
ready
to make
a change
in their
lives.
Often
the
bail
jumper
is at
a cross
roads
of decision
and
can
decide
to go
one
way
or another.
Any
positive
influence
that
we can
offer
at this
time
is INVALUABLE.
We call
the
ride
back
to incarceration "ROUTE
66" because
it is
definitely
a rare
and
significant
journey
for
the
bail
jumper.
However,
depending
upon
how
the
bail
jumper
chooses
to embrace
the
turn
of events,
the
journey
can
either
be a
journey
to long-lasting
freedom
or a
journey
to self-induced
Hell.
It's
their
choice!
True
freedom
begins
with
a choice.
Regardless,
we always
do our
job
with
compassion
and
conviction,
as well
as with
professionalism
and
prayer.
Amen. |
