Can you tell by our smiles that I am Leah’s
Mother?
I am a retired school teacher who taught high school French and math for over
35 years. I spend my time taking care of my 99 year old mother and working part-time
as an office manager at our condo complex. I began volunteering for Grumpy’ Bail
Bonds in 2006 in order to help my daughter with a few basic tasks. However, I enjoy
it so much that I volunteer to run to the jail whenever she needs me. I guess you
could say that I am her “pinch hitter!”
I enjoy the business so much because I love helping people out in difficult situations.
That is why I really respect the way Grumpy’s Bail Bonds treats their clients.
Kevin and Leah have both been through difficult times and realize that people in
trouble are not necessarily bad people but are simply people with problems. As I
see Leah answer her phone 24 hours a day to listen to people who just need to talk,
I always get a better grasp of why Grumpy’s is successful…and that is
because Leah and Kevin really care! Kevin says that “Don’t work for
money in this business - work for relationships! If you really try hard to help
people in need, you don ’t have to worry about the money – it will come!”
Last but not least, I am now…finally…a grandmother! Bail baby, Laila
Rain Davis, was born to Leah and Kevin September 10, 2006 and I could not be happier.
(I think she smiles like me too. At least now, Leah can pass the billboard torch
to her daughter one day!) My oldest, daughter, Lori McCarrall, is expecting now,
too. Our family is very blessed, and I am constantly thankful!
